Directions:

VICKS® NYQUIL® LIQUICAPS®:

• 12 yrs. & older: swallow 2 softgels with water, repeat every 6 hours; no more than 4 doses daily. If taking NyQuil and DayQuil®. limit total to 4 doses daily.

Warnings:

Alcohol warning   If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.

Sore throat warning   Severe or persistent sore throat or sore throat that occurs with high fever, headache, nausea, and vomiting may be serious. Ask a doctor right away. Do not use more than 2 days or give to children under 12 years of age unless directed by a doctor.

Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson' disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.

Ask a doctor before use if you have:

• heart disease
• asthma
• emphysema
• thyroid disease
• diabetes
• glaucoma
• high blood pressure
• excessive phlegm (mucus)
• breathing problems
• chronic bronchitis
• persistent or chronic cough
• cough associated with smoking
• trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers.

When using this product:

• do not use more than directed
• excitability may occur, especially in children
• marked drowsiness may occur
• avoid alcoholic drinks
• be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery
• do not use with other products containing acetaminophen
• alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness

Stop use and ask a doctor if:

• you get nervous, dizzy or sleepless
• new symptoms occur
• symptoms do not get better
• fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days
• you need to use more than 7 days
• cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or occurs with fever, rash, or headache that lasts.

These could be signs of a serious condition.

If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Quick medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.

How Supplied:    (LiquiCaps®) Available in 12- and 36-count child-resistant blister packages and 20-count non-child resistant blister packages. Each softgel is imprinted: "NyQuil".

Liquid Available in 6 and 10 FL OZ (175 and 295 ml, respectively) plastic bottles with child-resistant, tamper-evident cap and calibrated medicine cup.
